How to know Date of Draw for an advertised location?
Information will be sent to the eligible candidates through email / SMS to report for draw of lots. Also a notice with regard to the draw would be published before the date of draw in the same newspapers in which the advertisement for appointment of LPG Distributor was initially published.
Can information submitted in the online application form for LPG Distributor be edited?
The information submitted in the online format can be edited only up to point before the SUBMIT button is clicked in the system. The application form can be saved and edited before submitting. Once the applicant submits the application in system, the information inputted in the system cannot be changed or edited.
Does the applicant have to upload any document while making the online application?
While submitting the online application, the applicant has to upload a scan of his/ her photograph and signature. No other document is required to be uploaded nor submitted to any office of the OMC.
Should the hard copy of the printed application form be submitted to the office of IOC/HPC/BPC?
NO. The application copy is not required to be submitted, as the process for submission and further selection is defined to be online.
What happens when the application money is debited from account (S/B, DC, CC) but transaction has failed.
In such cases, the bank would refund the amount to the applicant, but the applicant on seeing the message transaction failed has to re-submit his amount in the same way as was done earlier.
After fully submitting the form and payment what is the applicant required to do.
The applicant would receive all details in his email. He should download the PDF copy of his application form and wait for communication from the OMC for the date of DRAW of Lots. All communication will be made to his / her registered email address and / or sms to his/her registered phone number.
Whether two applicants who own part of the plot bearing same khasra number, are permitted to apply for the same location?
Refer to Clause related to 'Specific Eligibility Criteria for Showroom' in the Brochure. Further, the land provided by each candidate should be clearly demarcated and ownership should be identified /proven as separate piece of land through relevant land document.
Can the applicant have an option to SAVE the application form with incomplete information and subsequently complete the form on a subsequent date?
Yes. There is an option to SAVE incomplete application form. The form can be completed in all respects before the last date of receipt of application form by looging into the portal and visiting 'My Application' section., choose his reference number and proceed to 'Pay Online Payment'.
Does the applicant have to keep a copy of the application form for further reference?
The applicant on making the payment can download a PDF copy of his application; may keep a copy for his record. All the details of application submitted would also be sent to his email.
What should be the criterion for eligibility of an applicant regarding age?
For becoming eligible, the age of the applicant would be calculated as on date of advertisement, to be either above 21 years or below 60 years as the case may be.
Can the applicant apply for multiple locations in the same state?
Yes. However the applicant has to apply for each location and pay separate application fee for each location and should meet the eligibility criteria for all the locations.
What should be the application fee for applicants belonging to OBC category but applying for any of the Open (O) category location?
Applicants of the Other Backward Category (OBC) applying for Open (O) category location need to pay the application fee as applicable for Open (O) category.
How does the OBC category of applicants get classified?
The applicants belonging to other backward classes recognized as OBC by Govt. of India will be eligible to apply under OBC category.
